SnoGhosts Snowmobile Club was formed to encourage SAFE snowmobiling, maintenance of our trail system and have fun the whole year round!
The SnoGhost Snowmobile club was able to donate over 900 pounds of food and 26.5 pounds of winter clothing to the North Anoka County Emergancy Food Shelf in December.
The club collects food throughout the year at its monthly meeting, but December is the big month for a huge food drive. One of the members works with New Horizons Daycare and was able to do a food drive at local facilities to help the Sno Ghosts donate so much.
In addition to the donation to the food shelf, the club was able to help a local family in need with $450 to use towards past due utilities and rent, plus a car load of groceries and gifts for the family. The money and gifts were donated by the members to help this family.
If you are interested in joining the local snowmobile club, they meet the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Please visit this website for more information: www.sno-ghosts.com
