Snowmobilers Recognized for Achievements at MnUSA Rendezvous

MnUSA Winter Rendezvous is always a great event to celebrate snowmobiling and the efforts of volunteers and Rendezvous at Arrowwood Resort in Alexandria was no exception. Snowmobilers were honored to have Governor Dayton attend and delighted to take him on his first snowmobile ride. The Governor thanked the volunteers for their efforts and their important contribution to the economy and winter tourism in the State. The weather was great for snowmobiling and snowmobile trails maintained by Douglas Area Trail Association were in impeccable condition.

At the awards dinner, Minnesota DNR presented its Certificate of Recognition Award on behalf of the People of Minnesota to all the snowmobile groomer operators in Minnesota in recognition of the dedicated service to Minnesota's Snowmobiling Community and Minnesota's 22,000 miles of Snowmobile Trails.
