The Farmington Sno-Tigers have been in existence since approximately 1970.
We are a group of snowmobiler enthusiast dedicated to preserving the sport we love.


Our club is located in the south central part of Dakota County. We maintain and groom approximately 50 miles of trail around the Farmington area. We have about 60 members in our club at present time.


Our meetings are held the second Thursday of the month at the vfw in Farmington, MN at 7:00 PM--year around.

Event: Snowmobile Safety Training Online - Field Day - Farmington
Description: Snowmobile Safety Training Online - Field Day takes place at the Farmington VFW, 421 3rd St., Farmington. Go to Farmingtonsnotigers.com for additional information and/or pre registration. Registration begins at 7:30 am before the 8:00 am class. Drive test at Dakota County Fairgrounds. Must be 11 years of age prior to class start date in order to be eligible to take this class. You must do the on line training, print and bring your voucher before coming to class. Class costs $5.00 at the door. Dress for cold weather. Bring helmet. Do not bring your own sled.

Description: Farmington Sno-Tigers are having a Snowmobile Safety Field Day on January 8, 2022 at the Farmington VFW 421 3rd St Farmington, MN 55022.

Cost: $10.00

Kenny Zak will lead class from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.

Participants must be 11 years of age before class start date listed above and have completed the online course in order to be eligible to take this class.

Class registration starts at 7:30 am on day of class. Need a parent or guardian present to sign registration form.

Class will be from 8am until 12 noon.

Riding test will start at 1 o-clock same day. Drive test usually lasts max 2 hours . Depending on number of students.

Dress for the occasion. You may have to be outside for a period of time [this goes for parents also].

Student will need a helmet and again warm clothes.

No need to bring a snowmobile. One will be provided.

Directions to driving test will be given out morning of registration. We have a couple places to do the test . Waiting to see what field has the best snow.
