The Marcell Snowdrifters Snowmobile Club was founded in 1968.

Our club meets the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30pm from Sept.through April. We don't meet over the summer. See our calendar for more details https://www.marcellsnowdrifters.com/calendar.html

The club maintains and grooms 105 miles of trails. Trails include: Wilderness Willie, Effie Connection, Bigfork Lions, Marcell North and Marcell South, and portions of the Cameron and Bowstring Trails.

Our trails are connected to the Herb Brandstrom Trail which leads to the Taconite Trail, the Suomi Trail, the Blue Ox Trail and many others. We cover Talmoon, Marcell, Bigfork, Effie, Craigville and we reach Togo.

We have trailhead parking at our clubhouse and also at our Effie Garage which is located at the end of SW Summit Ave in Effie. From the intersection of Highway l and Highway 38 in Effie, turn east on Highway 1 for about a 1/4 mile, turn right on Summit.

We have a variety of trails with straight runs and many with lots of curves. THIS IS SCENIC COUNTRY. We have 1000 lakes in Itasca County. You will see many of them from our trails. We have resorts, hotels, restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, snowmobile sales & repair shops and on&off sale liquor stores waiting to accommodate you!
